About Annie
I aim to make timeless designs and substantial pieces for everyday wear. Often inspired by nature I favour simple organic lines which can be found across my collections. Each piece is handmade from 100% recycled silver. I offer consultations and fittings to create bespoke pieces so if you have a specific idea in mind get in touch to book an appointment to discuss details.
I found a passion for creating silver jewellery after attending local classes. I fell in love with silversmithing walking away from my first session with my own finished ring and quickly set up a workshop at home in the garden shed. I continued on my own to build skills using traditional techniques and experimenting with the beautifully versatile material. ‘Annie Designs’ was born a few months later when I was ready to display and sell my work publicly. In 2017 I moved into my Workshop and Studio within ‘Lilford Framing & Gallery’ in Canterbury City Centre. Having a permanent shop base to display my work meant I could focus on building my business and went full time. In 2018 I began running the Silver Ring Workshops to offer everyone the experience and opportunity to fall in love with silversmithing.
Born and raised in Canterbury I now live in a village outside of the city with my husband and our Labrador Ruby. When I’m not at work in the studio I can usually be found helping to renovate the house, visiting with family and friends or on countryside walks.
